~ a note from the camp ~

I'm an engineer who likes building LLM systems that don't fall apart once real users touch them. Most of my work sits between production retrieval pipelines, agentic workflows, and the dependable backend infrastructure required to keep them deterministic.

Currently building AI products at Monsoonfish, with prior stints across two other product teams. When I'm off the clock, I'm usually deep-diving into AI architectures, building things that actually solve problems rather than just look good in a demo, or grinding LeetCode (Knight).

Outside of code: football and the gym.

Quest

Quest Log

My journey across AI product teams, production systems, and engineering leadership.

  • ❖ Driving product-side LLM features end-to-end: from initial requirements definition and rigorous evaluation harnesses to production instrumentation and real usage measurement.
  • ❖ Architecting reliable LLM application workflows ensuring outputs stay deterministic and safe under real-world user interactions.
Tech: Python LLM Evals FastAPI LangSmith Prompt Engineering
  • ❖ Engineered agentic RAG workflows using LangGraph and ChromaDB, integrating dynamic query routing and state persistence.
  • ❖ Built high-throughput FastAPI microservices backed by SQLAlchemy with explicit row-level locking to prevent race conditions during concurrent agent sessions.
  • ❖ Implemented a 0.5-confidence Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) fail-safe mechanism that gracefully routes uncertain model generations into an operator review queue.
Tech: Python FastAPI LangGraph ChromaDB SQLAlchemy HITL
  • ❖ Architected scalable backend APIs with Django & Django REST Framework, delivering secure JWT authentication and ACID-compliant transactional workflows across relational SQL databases.
  • ❖ Established rigorous unit and regression test suites with pytest, strengthening release confidence and production reliability through disciplined, test-driven engineering practices.
Tech: Python Django DRF SQL JWT pytest
  • ❖ Organized and spearheaded department-wide coding competitions for 100+ students, designing problem sets, test cases, and evaluation metrics.
  • ❖ Delivered hands-on technical workshops and freshers orientation sessions. Started as a regular volunteer and grew to coordinate the entire student chapter.
Focus: Technical Events Competitive Programming Workshops Mentorship
  • ❖ Final-year Computer Engineering undergrad with a strong focus on Data Structures & Algorithms, Systems Programming, Database Internals, and Applied AI.
  • ❖ Maintained a 8.6 CGPA while actively building production AI projects, leading student organizations, and competing in competitive programming.
Focus: Algorithms Data Structures DBMS Operating Systems Networks

Side Quests

Competitive programming, student leadership, and off-the-clock interests.

❖

Grinding DSA to Knight rank on LeetCode (@sahil_2610), solving over 600+ problems across graphs, trees, and dynamic programming.

❖

Serving as Event Coordinator for ACES at Trinity Academy of Engineering, organizing department-wide coding contests and hands-on workshops for 100+ students.

❖

Researching retrieval architectures, AI automation, and LLM inference & evaluation: prototyping is easy, sustaining it under real-user load is the hard part.

❖

Outside of code: passionate about football, dedicated to the gym, and discussing movies & technology.
